Structural - LINFLOW:
General Capabilities:
True Fluid Structure Interaction (“FSI”) analysis, computing the Eigenfrequencies of the combined system Fluid – Structure, thereby accounting for fluid at rest or moving. Aeroelastic Stability Analysis (p-k or v-g method, compressible and incompressible media).
Potential Applications:
Aeroelastic Stability analysis of air-craft parts, vibrations of pipe systems.
Structural - LINFLOW - Structural:
General Capabilities:
FSI based Structural Response (Harmonic and Response Spectrum) for displacements and stresses, Acoustics .
Potential Applications:
Propellers, fans, car-bodies, ducts, pipe flow, acoustics, acoustics in moving media.
Navier-Stokes Solver - Structural - LINFLOW - Structural:
General Capabilities:
Navier-Stokes Solver to determine pulsations in the pressure field to be applied as driving excitation in LINFLOW.

Navier-Stokes Solver - Large Eddy Simulations - Structural - LINFLOW -Structural:
General Capabilities:
Navier-Stokes Solver to check for Instationary Fluid Flow behavior, LES if the NSS simulation shows that a better resolution is needed.
LES determined fluctuations in the pressure field to be applied as driving excitation in LINFLOW.

Software:
LINFLOW: CFD / FSI Software for potential flow, discretisized by Boundary Elements (“BEM”)
STRUCTURAL: Structural analysis system to compute Eigenvalues, Eigenforms, and Modal Load Vector to be utilized in LINFLOW and also to be used for stress and displacement calculations
NAVIER-STOKES SOLVER: CFD software for general fluid flow
Large Eddy Simulations: CFD Software for detailed simulation of fluid flow, which allows all large scale turbulent eddies to be calculated explicitly, and only small turbulent eddies are modeled using a sub-grid model.
