About us

ANKER - ZEMER Engineering AS (founding member of Technology Network Alliance AG / CAEworld)
was established in 1984 by Jan Christian Anker and David T. Zemer with office in Oslo, Norway.
Both founders have Finite Element experience dating back to the late 1960s.

In 1985 ANKER - ZEMER Engineering AS became the distributor of the general Finite Element System ANSYS(TM) for the Nordic Countries and very successfully built up the ANSYS market there. 1993, ANKER - ZEMER Engineering was recognized ANSYS International Sales leader. At the end of 1999 the ANSYS distributorship was terminated, but we continue giving ANSYS Support.

1990, ANKER - ZEMER Engineering AB was established in Karlskoga, Sweden.
Our very unique product LINFLOW(TM) is being developed and maintained here (for a description of LINFLOW, see link here).

1997 ANKER - ZEMER Design AB was established in Staffanstorp (Lund) in Sweden. In December 2003 ANKER - ZEMER Design was sold to Dr. Åke Burman; consequently, we no longer provide technical support to that company.

In 2002, an office was established in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Over the years, consulting has become a major business area. Historically, our consulting has mostly involved finite element analysis using ANSYS, but now we use other types of software as well. From some of our offices we also offer consulting at our customers premises.

Business Areas are:
CAE, Consulting, Numerical Simulations, Product Development, Software Sales and Support, and Training.
We also configure and sell Hardware for Simulations.
