MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: PIPE ELEMENT FOR FLUID-STRUCTURE INTERACTION
DUE TO INTERNAL FLOW IN PIPING NETWORKS IN LINFLOW !

Jari Hyvärinen has finally had the time to implement a Pipe Element in LINFLOW. More on this element in a LINFLOW sense will follow later. The significance of this element is that it makes it possible to study fluid induced vibrations - or FSI - in piping networks.
We expect the LINFLOW pipe element to be utilized in the Process and Nuclear Industries and everywhere else where fluid induced vibrations in piping networks due to internal flow is an issue.
Please feel free to contact us if you need more information quickly. We expect to provide more information here.

About Our Business

Consulting
We provide consulting related to Numerical Simulations in the Engineering Design Process.
Our particular strengths are within Fluid Structure Interaction ("FSI"), Computational Fluid Dynamics("CFD"), Explicit analysis of (Explosions, impact) of mechanical systems, Structural and Thermal linear and non-linear simulations, Product Development by numerical simulations, and General Engineering Methods including numerical simulations.

Senior personnel has 20 years' experience or more, references are
available on request. More Information about our consulting services can be found here.

Finite Element Analysis
We have extensive experience in linear and non-linear FEA. We are spezializing in FEA for product development.

Computational Fluid Dynamics
We have developed our own program for CFD: LINFLOW. This program covers Fluid Flow, Aeroelasticity, Acoustics, Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), and Aeroelastic Stability.
It is an excellent tool for the study of Propellers, Fans, Vibrations in Ducts and Pipes due to internal Fluid Flow, Lift and Drag of Airfoils and Spoilers, Acoustics, and general FSI.

Industries Served
Aerospace, Automotive, Civil Engineering, Defense, Energy, Information Technology, Mechanical, Medical, Process, Research, and Education.

Software Distributed

CAEFEM, LINFLOW.
